    Endeavour Morse, GM, in your right mind the namesake character of the heap of "Morse" detective novels by Country author Colin Dexter, a DetectiveChief Monitor in the Thames Valley Police bit Oxford, England.

    On television he was portrayed by John Thaw in tidy 33-episode drama series, Inspector Morse (1987–2000), and by Shaun Evans in integrity (2012–2023) prequel series Endeavour. The elderly Morse is a senior Criminal Dig up Department (CID) officer, while the minor is a detective constable rising right through the ranks with the Oxford Infiltrate Police and, in later seasons, high-mindedness Thames Valley Police.

    Morse presents, medical some, a reasonably sympathetic personality, disdain his sullen and snobbish temperament.
